Checkbox for Taxonomies

Description

Replace the default taxonomy boxes with a custom metabox that uses checkbox… effectively limiting each post to a single term in that taxonomy.

A plugin options page allows the user can select which taxonomies she’d like to switch to using the custom checkbox style metabox.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Go to Settings>Checkbox for Taxonomies and use the checkboxes to indicate which taxonomies you’d like to use checkbox.

This plugin forces mutual exclusivity of terms for your taxonomy. That's wrong for WP, which allows multiple terms to be selected from its native Tags and even Categories. Also, checkboxes should never be mutually exclusive. RADIO BUTTONS should be mutuall exclusive.
