Usage

  1. Accessing Site Suggest: Once activated, you can find Site Suggest under the Tools or Settings menu in your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Running an SEO Audit: Click on Site Suggest to open the plugin dashboard. From here, you can run a full SEO audit by clicking the “Run Audit” button.
  3. Viewing Reports: After the audit is complete, you will be presented with a detailed report covering various aspects of your site’s SEO performance. Navigate through the different sections (Page Speed, Plugin Updates, etc.) to review specific insights.
  4. Taking Action: Use the actionable recommendations provided in the report to improve your site’s SEO. This may include updating plugins, fixing broken links, or optimizing your theme.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Navigate to Tools > Site Auditor Pro to begin auditing your site.Before installing, please note that the plugin requires PHP >= 8.0

Go to Plugins > Add New.
Search for “Site Suggest”.
Install and activate the plugin.

FAQ

Q: I searched “Site Suggest” but couldn’t find the plugin in WordPress — why?
A: Make sure to try searching for both “Site Suggest” and “sitesuggest” (as one word). WordPress search may match slugs differently, and we’re working to improve discoverability.

Q: Is Site Suggest compatible with all WordPress themes and plugins?
A: Site Suggest is designed to work with most WordPress themes and plugins. However, compatibility issues may arise with some custom or poorly coded themes/plugins.

Q: How often should I run an SEO audit with Site Suggest?
A: It’s recommended to run an SEO audit at least once a month or after making significant changes to your site.

Q: Can Site Suggest fix SEO issues automatically?

Q: Does the plugin store any of my site data?
A: Site Suggest does not store sensitive data. Any information fetched using third-party APIs is used temporarily to generate reports and is not retained or shared.

Q: Is there a premium version of Site Suggest?
A: Currently, Site Suggest is available as a free plugin. We are working on adding premium features in future updates.

You don’t know how much stress it is to go through and comb a ready made website not made by me to see what kind of issues I’ll be dealing with and lo and behold this comes in and saves me time and money!! Love that it also showed some of the dummy text that the client might have missed on their website without realising it. Made me look smart and trustworthy to them when I gave them the report.

The plugin works well and detects the key information needed for a general site check. The “Delete Revisions / Delete Drafts” feature is very useful! Also appreciated are the “Image Size Checker” and “Has Broken Links” tools! 😊
